Special Council will be established in the Georgian Defense Ministry, which will include ministers and militaries with great experience participating in military operations in recent years, Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania said, Maestro TV channel reported.
He said those who served in Georgian Defense Ministry for the last 20 years, are great professionals and their experience will profit the ministry.
"Our council will include former minister David Tevzadze. And I will hold meetings with Gia Karkarashvili and Club of General in order to use their experience for the benefit of the country, so not to lose it" Alasania said.
At the same time the minister intends to take into account experience of the 2008 Russia-Georgia War. However, he did not say whether he will attract someone with this experience.
Late last week, the parliament approved the new Georgian government, formed of representatives of the Georgian Dream coalition, which won the elections. The coalition leader Bidzina Ivanishvili became Georgian Prime Minister.
