There have been legal grounds for the detention of former Interior Minister Bacho Akhalaia and Chief of the Joint Staff Giorgi Kalandadze, Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili told reporters on Wednesday.
However, he said he did not have concrete information on this issue and personally is not involved in these processes.
"It was not a political detention, and as far as I know, it has legal grounds. Personally, I am not involved in this processes and can not say more," Ivanishvili said.
