The leading arbitrators and lawyers from different countries will gather in Tbilisi, Georgia, on 4-5 October 2018, for the Annual International Conference GIAC Arbitration Days. Bringing together over 40 international arbitration specialists and judges, the conference will discuss various topics related to modern arbitration, GeorgiaToday reports.
The Arbitration Days 2018 are organized by the Georgian International Arbitration Centre (GIAC) and supported by the European Union (EU) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
Nino Chikovani – President of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will open the event.
This will be followed by the addresses from Thea Tsulukiani – Minister of Justice of Georgia, Carl Hartzell – Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia, Nino Bakakuri– Judge of Supreme Court of Georgia, Irakli Lekvinadze – Business Ombudsman of Georgia, Sophie Tkhemaldze– Chairperson of Georgian Arbitrators’ Association, and David Saganelidze– CEO JSC “Partnership Fund”.
