Georgia’s revenues from international visits in February 2022 amounted to $105.2 million, which is a 7.7-fold increase, compared to the same period of 2021 ($13.6 million), Trend reports via Georgian National Tourism Administration.

According to the report, the same figure recovered by 62.2 percent of the 2019 level (before the COVID-19 pandemic).

Meanwhile, the number of international visitors to Georgia in February 2022 totaled 165,625 people, which is an increase of 297 percent, compared to the same period of 2021. The current figure recovered by 35.3 percent, compared to 2019 level.

The number of tourist visits in Georgia in the reporting period of 2022 totaled 137,148 visits , which is an increase of 282 percent, compared to February 2021. This figure recovered by 55.4 percent, compared to 2019 level.
