(civil.ge) - Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili left for Minsk to participate in the summit of CIS leaders on November 28.
I want everybody to understand the motivation with which the Georgian delegation leaves for Minsk. We understand that the Commonwealth of Independent States is very ineffective, but Georgia has no right to ignore any rostrum, President Saakashvili said before his departure, reports Trend.
On the sideline of the CIS summit Saakashvili will hold bilateral talks with CIS leaders, though it is not yet clear whether a bilateral meeting with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin will take place.
