The leader of the Turkish Republican People's Party (CHP) Kemal Kilicdaroglu may be arrested.
Turkish Prosecutor’s Office has prepared an indictment against Kilicdaroglu in connection with his speeches made against Bilal Erdogan, the son of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Haberturk newspaper reported Oct. 11.
Kilicdaroglu may be deprived of freedom for 4-20 months within the framework of the charges “insult via media outlets”, according to the newspaper.
Kilicdaroglu was also accused of his speeches in the media outlets against the Turkish president. However, on July 27, Turkish President Erdogan decided to withdraw all lawsuits filed by him to the court regarding the leaders of opposition political parties of the country.
