The number of the business trips from Turkey to Georgia increased in January-August 2019, Trend reports referring to Turkish Employment Agency (ISKUR).
According to ISKUR, the number of Turkish citizens who visited Georgia via the agency to find jobs increased by 7.5 times in January-August 2019 compared to the same period of 2018.
Some 53 Turkish citizens visited Georgia through ISKUR in January-August 2019.
Some 12,200 Turkish citizens went abroad through the agency in January-August 2019, which is 15.5 percent less compared to the same period of last year.
According to ISKUR, 103,800 Turkish citizens were provided with jobs in Turkey in August 2019, which is 12.6 percent more compared to August 2018. Of the total number of those employed 33.8 percent accounted for women and 66.2 percent - men.
Of those employed in August 2019 in Turkey, 99.6 percent accounted for the private sector.
In August 2019, the number of unemployed in Turkey amounted to 4.044 million people, 50.2 percent of them - women and 49.8 percent - men.
