Interpol issues arrest warrant for Saddam Hussein's daughter

On Sunday Interpol issued a warrant for the arrest of former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein's daughter Raghad Saddam Hussein by accusing her of financing terrorist acts in Iraq, Al Arabiya website reported.

An arrest warrant was issued at the request of the Iraqi government on charges of terrorism, which threatens the lives of innocent people. The information was posted on the official website of Interpol on Sunday, including personal information and charges against her.

Raghad Saddam Hussein is daughter of former Iraqi leader. She was in 1968. She is Hussein Kamel's widow. He run away from the Saddam regime to Jordan. Later he was killed with other family members in 1996, after returning to Iraq.

Former Iraqi president's daughter lives with her five children in the Jordanian capital, Amman. Her father was ousted in 2003 after the U.S invasion to Iraq. The last time she participated in a popular demonstration of trade unions in Amman for the public mourning for her father, who was executed in December 2006.
