Turnout is 57.4 per cent in Syrian referendum

Turnout in the Syrian referendum on a new constitution reached 57.4 per cent, state-run SANA news agency reported Monday, dpa reported.

SANA said that 89.4 per cent of voters were in favour of the new constitution.
