( dpa ) - A roadside detonated near the southern Lebanese port city of Sidon Tuesday, wounding at least two UN peacekeepers passing in a patrol vehicle, a security source said.
Initial reports said the bomb targeted a United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) patrol wounding two Spanish peacekeepers, a witness told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa.
The UNIFIL white Nissan jeep was targeted in Rmeilleh village. The two peacekeepers were taken to a nearby hospital in Sidon.
