US television talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and her long-time partner actress Portia de Rossi were married in Los Angeles, according to a news report Sunday. In May, DeGeneres announced plans to marry de Rossi during a taping of her popular show, after California's Supreme Court ruled that a previous ban on gay marriage was unconstitutional. The couple has been together since December 2004, the dpa reported. DeGeneres, 50, and de Rossi, 35, exchanged rings and handwritten vows during an "intimate ceremony" Saturday night at their home in Los Angeles, People magazine reported. The wedding was attended by 19 guests, including DeGeneres's mother Betty and de Rossi's mother Margaret Rogers, who flew in from Australia. "She's taught me lessons about myself, and I feel like I've taught her. We've both changed and grown, and we just feel like, 'Oh, okay, this is completion'," People quoted DeGeneres say saying.
