Germany right back Clemens Fritz has renewed his contract at Werder Bremen until 2012, the Bundesliga club announced on Sunday.
Fritz, 27, came to Bremen in 2006 from Bayer Leverkusen. His original deal in Bremen was until 2009. No details of the new contract were given, dpa reported.
