A Pakistani official has been kidnapped in the northwestern region on his way back from a meeting, local media reported on Wednesday.
Ateeq-ur-Rehman, district coordination officer (DCO) of Dir Bala in North West Frontier Province, has been abducted with his driver and gunmen on Tuesday, the official Associated Press of Pakistan confirmed.
The DCO was kidnapped when he was returning after attending a meeting, Xinhua reported.
Police have began search operation for the official.
