Some university students in Iran have established a Student Movement "Protection of the President." They said that the aim of organizing such a movement is to protect President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, İRNA news agency reported.
The statement of the students indicates that on June 3, during a live debate between Ahmadinejad and other presidential candidate Mir Hussein Musavi on the Iranian television, the current president acted against influential people of the country. He also criticized Iran's court agencies and asked: "Why some cases relating to corruption have not been discovered over the past ten years." The students supported Ahmadinejad's statement and urge strengthening his protection.
The student movement demanded that the security forces of Iran must be vigilant in the protection of President Ahmadinejad.
On June 3, during live debates with other presidential candidate Mir Hussein Musavi on the Iranian television, Ahmadinejad made accusations against ex-President Rafsanjani and his family. Ahmadinejad accused Rafsanjani of corruption and provocations directed against him.
