At least 104 people were killed and over 100 were injured in a devastating fire accident which took place Thursday night in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka, local media reported.

At least 104 people were killed and over 100 were injured in a devastating fire accident which took place Thursday night in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka, local media reported.
   According to local television ATN Bangla reported on Friday morning, at least 104 people were killed and more than 100 others were injured, Xinhua reported.
   Mohibul Huq, deputy commissioner of Dhaka district, told Xinhua that the fire broke out when an electric transformer exploded igniting a chemical warehouse.
   Nayeem Md. Shahidullah, Director General of Fire Service and Civil Defense of Bangladesh, told Xinhua that "we have sent the search team for detail search of the area."
   The fire broke out in the old Dhaka city at about 9:20 p.m. Thursday and it soon spread to some five houses in the congested residential area.
   The firefighters rushed to the spot soon and brought the fire under control after three hours.
   This is the second deadly disaster to strike the capital in 72 hours after a five-story building collapsed on Tuesday night, killing 25 people.
