A mass brawl between two villages in Russia's North Caucasus republic of Dagestan left three dead and at least five injured, local police said on Saturday.
Just before midnight some 400 people from the villages of Gergebil and Tikuni, 200 from each village, began a massive brawl. Three people died from gunshot wounds and at least another five have been hospitalized, RIA Novosti reported.
The fight apparently began because of a difference of opinions between two villagers.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the reasons for the mass disruption between the two villages and are searching for the instigators and organizers of the incident.
