The United States and the European Union will hold top-level talks on Saturday on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Lisbon, RIA Novosti reported.
U.S. President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will meet with President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Catherine Ashton, to discuss strategic cooperation between the United States and the European Union.
The parties are also expected to address the Iranian nuclear issue and the situation in the Middle East.
