Taliban-linked activities claimed the life of another NATO soldier in Afghanistan on Saturday, brining the alliance's casualties to four over the past two days, a press release of NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said, Xinhua reported.
"An International Security Assistance Force service member died as a result of an insurgent attack in eastern Afghanistan today,"the press release said.
The alliance in a separate press release on Saturday also confirmed losing another soldier in the northern region of the country.
"An International Security Assistance Force service member died as a result of a non-battle related injury in northern Afghanistan yesterday,"the press release emphasized.
Two more soldiers with NATO-led troops, according to statements of the alliance had been killed in the eastern and southern parts of Afghanistan on Friday.
Over 690 NATO soldiers, most of them Americans, have been killed since beginning this year in Afghanistan.
