Ukraine's Wladimir Klitschko will remain the boxing world champion after triumphing over Briton David Haye in a heavyweight title fight in Hamburg late Saturday, dpa reported.
The 35-year-old won the match on points 117-109, 118-108, 116-110, adding Haye's WBA belt to his WBO, IBF and IBO belts.
All the important boxing titles are now in the pocession of the Klitschko family. Brother Vitali Klitschko is the heavyweight champion of the WBC.
Rain and cool temperatures could not keep away some 45,000 spectators, including 13,000 Britons, who gathered in the Hamburger SV football arena to catch the title fight.
