Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg announced on Wednesday a partnership with Skype to add video chat to the functions on the social networking site, RIA Novosti reported
Zuckenberg also said Facebook now had some 750 million members.
Competitor Google also recently launched a Facebook rival, Google+, which boasts video calling.
Skype is currently being sold to Microsoft, itself a major shareholder in Facebook.
