Four construction workers were killed when a wall collapsed on them in the northern Philippines, a police report said Saturday, dpa reported.
Four workers were also injured in the accident Friday in an industrial park in Angeles City of Pampanga province, 75 kilometres north of Manila.
The workers were building the wall for a pharmaceutical company when a "sudden strong wind" swept through the area, causing the 25-metre-wide structure to fall, the police report said.
Safety concerns have plagued many construction sites in the Philippines, where workers sometimes are not equipped with protective gear and safety standards are low.
