Denmark pulled a surprise at the Euro 2012, defeating the fancied Netherlands 1-0 in their opening group B game in front of nearly 36,000 fans at Kharkiv's Metalist Stadium in Ukraine on Saturday.
Forward Michael Krohn-Delhi scored in the 24th minute. In other group B action, leading contenders Germany were to play Portugal in Lviv later in the day.
