At least five people have died when a Foker 50 plane crashed near Goma in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo on Monday, according to local radio reports.
The plane, operated by the Congolese African Aviation Company, was about to land when it crashed in the city of Goma, capital of North Kivu province, said Kinshasa-based Radio Okapi, dpa reported.
According to the radio station, the plane was carrying 30 passengers from Lodja, a town in Kasai-Oriental province.
