Moscow's Basmanny District Court is expected to consider the petition of investigators on the arrest of suspects in the murder of politician Boris Nemtsov, RIA Novosti news agency reported.
Earlier, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) Head Alexander Bortnikov said that two suspects in the murder of politician Boris Nemtsov were detained March 7. He said that the suspects Gubashev Anzor and Dadayev Zaur are from the Caucasus.
By law, investigators have 48 hours to appeal to the court on selection of a measure of restriction.
"Today, the court does not work and duty of a judge is assigned for tomorrow, March 8," said the court spokesman Anna Fadeyeva. On Monday, March 9, the court is also closed."
Nemtsov, who formerly held several senior positions in the Russian government, and then became an oppositionist, was shot dead in central Moscow on the night of Feb. 27.
The investigation is considering several versions of the crime, including an assassination.
