An earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale jolted 165km E of Tadine, New Caledonia at 14:56:49 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said, Trend reported citing Xinhua.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 21.661 degrees south latitude and 169.474 degrees east longitude.
