BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 31. FIFA announces the expansion of its partnership with Visa (NYSE: V), a global leader in digital payments and the official partner of the soccer federation, Trend reports.
According to Visa, under the new agreement, which will run through 2026, Visa and FIFA will promote soccer and support players, fans, and customers through an exciting program that includes the FIFA Youth Cup, FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, and FIFA Cyber Football World Cup. It will culminate in the biggest FIFA World Cup in history, the 2026 FIFA World Cup
Commenting on the agreement, FIFA President Gianni Infantino said that FIFA is excited to work with Visa and focus on the bright future that a strong partnership will bring.
"We are excited to bring special moments to fans from around the world," he said.
In turn, Visa's regional president for global markets Oliver Jenkin emphasized that the partnership with FIFA has provided tremendous benefits to the brand, customers, and cardholders.
"We are delighted to continue our long-standing partnership," he said.
