Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine resolves to revise living and minimum wage in 2007

(ForUm) - The Verkhovna Rada at its plenary session approved resolution on revising the living wage and the minimal wage in 2007.

Under the document, the Cabinet of ministers is to submit draft amendments to the 2007 budget as for raising the living wage to disabled persons in 2007 and set it at UAH 397 since April 1 and at UAH 406 since October 1, 2007, reports Trend.

On outcomes of fulfillment of the budget in the first quarter of 2007, the Cabinet of ministers is also obliged to submit changes to the budget for the Verkhovna Rada consideration to increase minimal wages up to UAH 420 since May 1, UAH 430 since August 1 and UAH 460 since December 1, 2007. The resolution was backed by 376 deputies, cabinet press-office informs.
