( Sky ) - A parish councillor has reportedly married one of Osama bin Laden's sons after a holiday romance.

Al Qaeda terror leader has a new daughter-in-lawJane Felix-Browne, a 51-year-old grandmother from Moulton, Cheshire, met 27-year-old Omar Ossama bin Laden in Egypt in September, The Times reported.

Her new husband is currently working as a scrap metal dealer in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia while she applies for a visa so he can visit Britain, the paper said.

Mrs Felix-Browne said she had "married the son, not the father" - and hoped people would not judge her harshly.

She said: "I just married the man I met and fell in love with - to me he is just Omar.

"He is the most beautiful person I have ever met. His heart is pure, he is pious, quiet, a true gentleman, and he is my best friend."

Mrs Felix-Browne, who has already been married five times, believes she met her new husband's father at a party in London in the 1970s, according to the paper.

Saudi Arabian-born Osama bin Laden is one of the world's most wanted men, with a ?12m bounty from the US government on his head.

As leader of the terrorist group Al Qaeda, he has been implicated in the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York and Washington DC, as well as the July 7, 2005 London bombings.

Omar bin Laden is his fourth eldest son, although Mrs Felix-Browne insisted her husband has had no contact with his father since they were both in Afghanistan in 2000.
