During a press conference Turkish interior minister Bashir Atalay said Turkey needs a new Constitution. But it has not been agreed because there is no unity between the ruling party and opposition parties, CNN Turk news portal reported.
"Turkey needs a new Constitution, but there is no unity between the ruling party and opposition parties," Atalay said.
After the municipal elections, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan also spoke about the amendments to the basic law, at least partially.
