Shots were fired Tuesday at the Turkish Embassy in Tel Aviv, wounding one person, СNN Turk reported.
Police would not confirm reports that a man entered the embassy and made demands. Anonymous Israeli officials said the attacker was a Palestinian, AP reported.
Ambulances and members of the security services were at the scene.
The spokesman was unable to confirm media reports of a possible hostage-taking incident or that at least one person was wounded, dpa reported.
