French President Francois Hollande has no information on the introduction of section called "Armenian genocide" in the history textbooks and doesn't give such an order. He said about it to the journalist of Hurriyet newspaper during a meeting with foreign ambassadors in Paris.
"I have no information about it. I'll study this issue and will give you accurate information," Hollande told the journalist.
Earlier the number of Turkish media reported that the Ministry of Education of France intends to include section on the so-called "Armenian genocide" in the school history books.
In this regard, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said it launched an investigation.
Armenia and the Armenian lobby claim that the predecessor of the Turkey - Ottoman Empire had committed the 1915 genocide against the Armenians living in Anatolia, and achieved recognition of the "Armenian Genocide" by the parliaments of several countries.
