A total of 5,120 foreign companies were registered in Turkey with a total capital of 3.6 billion liras ($635.4 million) from January through September 2019, the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity (TOBB) told Trend.
”Some 32 agricultural companies, the capital of which amounted to 9.6 million liras ($1.6 million), were registered in Turkey during the reporting period,” TOBB said.
"Some 32 mining companies with a capital of 7.2 million liras ($1.2 million) and 417 industrial companies with a capital of 161.1 million liras ($27.9 million) were registered in Turkey from January through September 2019," TOBB said.
“For the reporting period of 2019, 219 construction companies with a total capital of 85.7 million liras ($14.8 million) were registered in Turkey,” TOBB said.
"Some 340 tourism companies with a capital of 152.3 million liras ($26.4 million) and 40 financial insurance companies with a total capital of 105.6 million liras ($18.3 million) were registered in Turkey from January through September 2019," TOBB said.
During the reporting period, 413 real estate companies with a capital of 183.2 million liras ($31.7 million) were registered in Turkey.
