In September 2019, 116,229 tourists from the US and Israel visited Turkey, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
According to the ministry, in September 2019, 58,160 tourists from the US visited Turkey, which is 23.35 percent more compared to September 2018.
The share of US citizens in the total number of foreigners who visited Turkey in September 2019 amounted to 1.07 percent.
From January through September 2019, 455,345 US tourists visited Turkey, which is 30.70 percent more compared to the same period in 2018.
The share of US citizens in the total number of foreigners who visited Turkey in the first nine months of 2019 amounted to 1.25 percent.
In September 2019, 58,069 Israeli tourists visited Turkey, which is 16.57 percent more compared to September 2018.
The share of Israeli citizens in the total number of foreigners who visited Turkey in September amounted to 1.07 percent.
From January through September 2019, 436,341 Israeli tourists visited Turkey, which is 24.86 percent more compared to the same period in 2018.
The share of Israeli citizens in the total number of foreigners who visited Turkey in the first nine months of 2019 amounted to 1.20 percent.
Over 5.4 million tourists visited Turkey in September 2019, which is 13.23 percent more compared to September 2018.
During the reporting period, over 2.2 million people visited Antalya, while over 1.4 million tourists visited Istanbul.
From January through September 2019, over 36.4 million tourists visited Turkey, which is 14.50 percent more compared to the same period of 2018.
