From January through October 2019, Iranian and Iraqi citizens purchased 10,248 real estate properties in Turkey, Trend reports referring to Turkish General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre.
During the reporting period, Iraqi citizens in Turkey purchased 6,124 real estate properties, which is 181 properties less compared to the same period in 2018.
“In October 2019, Iraqi citizens bought 297 real estate properties in Turkey, which is 842 properties less than in October 2018,” the report said.
During the mentioned period, Iranian citizens in Turkey purchased 4,160 real estate properties, which is 1,406 properties more compared to the same period in 2018.
“In October 2019, Iranian citizens in Turkey purchased 536 real estate properties, which is 21 properties less than in October 2018,” the report noted.
During the same period, 142,800 real estate properties were sold in Turkey, which is 15.4 percent less compared to October 2018.
In October 2019, 4,272 real estate properties were sold to foreigners in Turkey, which is 31.9 percent less compared to the same period in 2018.
