The trade turnover between Turkey and Belarus increased by $6.6 million in January 2020 compared to the same month of 2019, Turkey’s Ministry of Trade told Trend on March 10.
The value of the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $59.4 million, the ministry added.
“In January 2020, Turkey's export to Belarus amounted to $47.2 million, and import from Belarus to $12.2 million,” the ministry said.
Turkey’s foreign trade turnover in January 2020 made up $33.9 billion.
During the reported period, export from Turkey has increased by 6.4 percent compared to January 2019, making up $14.7 billion.
In January 2020, Turkey's import increased by 18.8 percent compared to the same month of 2019 and made up $19.2 billion.
