The exports of steel from Turkey to France grew by 4 percent from January through February 2021 compared to the same period of 2020, making up over $21.8 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend on Mar.9.
According to the ministry, in February 2021, the value of steel exports from Turkey to France rose by 31.7 percent compared to February 2020 and topped $12.2 million.
Turkey’s steel exports to global markets during the first 2 months of 2021 increased by 6.3 percent compared to the same period of 2020, exceeding $2.26 billion.
Turkey exported steel worth over $1.21 billion to foreign markets in February 2021, which is 21.5 percent more compared to the same month of last year.
Over the past 12 months (from February 2020 to February 2021), Turkey has exported steel worth over $12.7 billion.
