BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 16. Türkiye's exports of textiles and textile raw materials to Azerbaijan declined by 8.9 percent from January through March 2024 compared to the same month in 2023, totaling $9.9 million, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
"Türkiye exported $3 million worth of textiles and textile raw materials to Azerbaijan in March 2024, which is 21.9 percent less than the same period last year," the statement from the ministry reads.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's exports of textiles and raw materials for textiles decreased by 0.6 percent from January through March 2024 compared to the same period last year and amounted to $2.4 billion.
However, Türkiye exported textiles and raw materials for textiles worth $818 million in March this year, which was 9.1 percent less than in March last year.
To note, Türkiye exported $10.7 billion worth of textiles and textile raw materials during the last 12 months (from March 2023 through March 2024).
