Azerbaijani goods export to Georgia decreased by 17.4 percent – to $321.16 million in January-September 2016, according to a report of Georgia’s National Statistics Office (Geostat).
The report says that Azerbaijan with a specific weight of 4.2 percent (6.8 percent in January-September 2015) ranks sixth among the countries, from which Georgia imports goods.
Canada with almost $1.8 billion (23.6 percent) is the leader on this indicator and is followed by Turkey - $997.8 million (13.1 percent) and Ireland - $620.34 million (8.2 percent).
Trade turnover of Georgia with Azerbaijan amounted to $415.1 million in January-September 2016, according to the report.
The specific weight of Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with Georgia accounts for 4.6 percent of total volume of Georgia’s foreign trade operations.
