The paving bitumen production at Turkmenistan's Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR) has increased, reads a message from the country's Oil and Gas Ministry.
TCOR has two oil refineries in Turkmenistan - one in the city of Turkmenbashi and another in the city of Seydi.
"As a result of a number of technological measures, 278,000 tons of road surface binding agents were produced in 2015," said the message. "The volume of the paving bitumen, produced in the first five months of 2016, is 10 percent more than in the same period of 2015."
A project was implemented in 2015 for construction of a plant for producing paving bitumen at the Seydi refinery.
