Three Iranian men were hanged in Iran’s southern city of Shiraz on the morning of Oct. 24.
The Iranian court had sentenced them to death by hanging on charge of sexually assaulting two women in 2009, ISNA news agency reported.
Iran's Supreme Court had previously approved the regional court's sentence.
Murder, rape, armed robbery and trafficking of drugs in quantities exceeding 5 kilograms are among the crimes punishable by death in Iran.
Iran ranks second after China in terms of the number of executions.
