Iran says it is ready for the worst case scenario

Iran possesses detailed information about the U.S. and Israeli military forces in the region, IRIB News quoted Supreme Leader's top advisor for military affairs Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi as saying on Wednesday.

"Whatever happens, Iran is ready for the worst case scenario," he said.

The United States and Israel are hardly interested in breaking out war in the region by the force of the current inner situation in these countries, Safavi believes.

Safavi noted that Israel is a target of missiles of Iran, Hezbollah and HAMAS. "New war in the region will bring economic and political crisis into the entire world."

"Enemies are unknown of the IRGC special tactics, and we don't use any classic or standard tactics in case of emergency," Safavi underscored.

"In addition, they can't imagine war tactics of the IRGC. If something happens, we assure that the enemy will not even realize what has happened."

He added Iran watches over all U.S. ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

In early November, some Israeli media published reports saying Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak warned that a military strike on Iran was an option.

After the statements, Israel successfully test-fired a missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead and striking Iran.
