The leaders of the parliamentary minority were attacked at one of Tbilisi restaurants. According to Georgian media, on Sunday night at French restaurant "La Trophy" situated onTamarashvili street in Tbilisi a verbal altercation occured, which resulted in a fight.
Some persons who are not yet unidentified broke the hands and noses of the members of the parliamentary minority - MPs David Sakvarelidze, Giorgi Vashadze, as well as the former governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region Zaza Gorozia.
Meanwhile, shortly before the fight the President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili was at the restaurant. However, he and the Secretary General of the United National Movement Vano Mreabishvili left the restaurant before the fight.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, on the fact a criminal case on hooliganism is opened.
Those citizens who participated in the fight with the victims are already questioned.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Merabishvili and MPs will be questioned later. The summon have already been sent to them.
