An Armenian delegation headed by First Deputy Defence Minister David Tonoyan paid a working visit to Georgia on Feb. 6, Armenia Today reported.
Georgia, Armenia discuss development prospects of military cooperation

An Armenian delegation headed by First Deputy Defence Minister David Tonoyan paid a working visit to Georgia on Feb. 6, Armenia Today reported.

The delegation included First Deputy Head of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Enrico Apriamov and other officials.

During the visit the delegation met with the leadership of the Georgian Defence Ministry.

In particular, current issues and prospects of developing bilateral military cooperation were discussed during the meeting with Georgian First Deputy Defence Minister Levan Loridze. They exchanged views on regional security issues and possible development in the region.

The Armenian delegation was also received by Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Alasania.
