The Russian Information Agency RIA Novosti will hold a videomost Moscow - Baku – Washington on the "Russia - Azerbaijan - United States in the context of multi-vector policy” theme on Oct.17.

The Russian Information Agency RIA Novosti will hold a videomost Moscow - Baku - Washington on the "Russia - Azerbaijan - United States in the context of multi-vector policy" theme on Oct.17.

The event is timed to the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan's independence, which is celebrated on Oct.18.

The main topics of discussion will be the conversion of the South Caucasus into a zone of stability and security, U.S. interests in South Caucasus and how they coincide with the interests of Russia, Azerbaijan and other regional states. There also will be discussed settlement of unresolved regional conflicts.

Sergei Mikheyev, Director General of the Caspian Cooperation Institute, vice-president of the Center for Political Technologies, Alexander Skakov coordinator of the Working Group of the Centre for Central Asia, the Caucasus and the Volga-Ural of Oriental Studies Institute, Svante Cornell , Central Asia-Caucasus Institute Director at Johns Hopkins University, member of Trend Expert Council, Paul Goble, political scientist and former analyst of CIA and State Department, Fariz Ismayilzade Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy Deputy Rector and Jeyhun Karamov, Chairman of the Association of American graduates.
