U.S. firm to supply equipment for Azerbaijan’s radio monitoring network

The TCI International Company is a supplier of equipment for the centralised automated radio monitoring network of the State Administration for Radio Frequencies, the administration told Trend on Thursday.

By now the equipment has already been manufactured and tested and the administration's experts became acquainted with the work on the production facilities of the company at Fremont, CA, USA.

"Delivery of the equipment is expected within a month. The department has planned the purchase of two types of equipment for the centralised automated radio monitoring network, two stationary and one mobile. Stationary equipment will be installed areas of the centralised radio monitoring system in the villages of Mehtiabad and Yeni Guneshli," according to the State Administration for Radio Frequencies.

The total cost of the purchased equipment is estimated at seven million manat.

System integration will be undertaken by the Azerbaijani IT-company Sinam. The contract with the company was signed in December last year.

The official exchange rate on April 4 is 0.7846 AZN / USD.
