Azerbaijan's Gunaybank plans to get integrated into local payment terminals and e-payment systems in the country in 2022, Altay Safarov, head of the bank's PR department, told Trend.
“Gunaybank OJSC, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2022, will be busy with important projects related to rendering high-quality services to its customers," he said.
"One of the projects is to get integrated into payment terminals (MilliOn) and e-payment systems (E-manat), which are regularly being used by citizens," he said.
The head of the bank's PR department added that presently, the bank's customers are able to make payment transactions, namely, money transfers, payments, card management through CIB.az mobile banking.
Gunaybank completed 2021 with net profit worth 409,610 manat ($240,947), which is by 0.4 percent or 1,580 manat ($929) more compared to 2020.
The loan portfolio of the bank amounted to 199.8 million manat ($117.5 million), which is by 4.7 percent or 9.4 million manat ($5.5 million) more compared to 2020.
The total assets of the bank for 2021 amounted to 256.5 million manat ($150.9 million), which is by 11.5 percent or approximately 29.4 million manat ($17.3 million) more compared to 2020.
The total liabilities of the bank for 2021 amounted to 190.8 million manat ($111.8 million), which is by 6.1 percent or 11.8 million manat ($6.9 million) more compared to 2020.
