Yerevan asked a delay to continue negotiations on the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict after the meeting of the Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents in Kazan, Elmar Mammadyarov, the Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs, said.

According to Mammadyarov, the sides will continue the negotiations within the Prague process. “Azerbaijan publicized its position at the last negotiations, but Armenia asked time to think over. Then the sides will decide how to continue the negotiations.

There are proposals on the holding of the Foreign Ministers’ next meeting or the OSCE Mink Group’s visit to the region. The discussions are underway in this regard,” the Minister noted.
