Azerbaijan, Lankaran / Тrend corr P. Aliyeva / An accident took place in the Masalli region of Azerbaijan this morning.
According to the Prosecutor of Masalli Rizvan Hasanov, a resident from the Khoshchobanli region, Farrukh Abiyev, 20, died from a bullet wound received by a hunting rifle. Abiyev had gone hunting at 5.00am and was taken to hospital at 7.20am. According to the head of the Forensic Expertise and Pathological Anatomy Department at Massali, Tofig Mirzayev, Abiyev died at about 8.20am from a bullet wound.
The cause of the incident has not been yet revealed. The Masalli Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the case, the Prosecutor said.
The region of Masalli is 230km south of Baku.
