Azerbaijan, Baku, 24 January / corr Trend S.Agayeva / Flight between Baku and Amman will be in operation in April. All technical milestones will be completed by that period, Elman Arasli, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Jordan stated during a telephone interview from Amman on 24 January.
Initially flights will be carried out twice a week but should its productivity develop, an increase in the number of flights will be considered, the Ambassador said. The reason for this direct flight between the two countries is due to the increased attention of Jordanian businessmen and tourist companies directed at Azerbaijan and the lack of flights which impedes the co-operation process, he said. The Baku-Amman flight will contribute to the increase of capital invested by Jordanian businessmen into the Azerbaijani economy, Arasli said.
"The flights will be carried out by the national air company of Jordan," he said.
