Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 March / corr Trend I.Alizade / The spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO will be held in Berlin, Germany, in May, the international relations department at the Azerbaijan Parliament told Trend on 11 March.
"The issues to be discussed at the session
are still to be defined," Parliament said.
The session is expected to focus on problems in the South Caucasus, including lingering conflicts. "The Azerbaijani delegation will raise issues regarding Azerbaijan. This question was discussed during the PA NATO's President Jose Lello's recent visit to Azerbaijan," the same source said.
Azerbaijan has been cooperating with NATO since 1994 within the framework of NATO's Partnership for Peace Program, and is an active member of the Council of EuroAtlantic Partnership. In August 2005 PAZ and NATO signed an Individual Partnership Plan.
Azerbaijan has been a member of PA NATO since 2002.
